Stone Revetment Reconstruction, Stair Access & Beach Nourishment
Fixed Pier with Boat Lift, Floating Dock & Gangway
The crew recently replaced an existing boardwalk with a waterfront entrance leading into Hyannis Harbor. By first removing the pre-existing boardwalk, the crews constructed a 200-foot boardwalk, made of pressure treated lumber, as well as IPE decking.
Osterville Dredging Project
This particular project was challenging for our maintenance crew as the homeowner's property had limited access to the water. This gave our crew the opportunity to utilize a variety of marine equipment to deliver the new finalized floating docks. A built-in IPE bench, an aluminum flip-up ladder, a kayak rack, four-inch galvanized pipes (used to anchor the floats), and IPE decking were used to complete this new pier and floating dock.
This project was a total beachfront restoration for a private club in Osterville that consisted of repairs to the existing stone revetment, groin repairs, beach nourishment, and a new access ramp. Large sections of the stone revetment were completely disassembled and reconstructed with suitable sized stone. Six existing stone groins were completely disassembled and reconstructed. The whole beach area was fortified with a large quantity of beach nourishment to fill between each stone groin and in front of the stone revetment. Lastly, a new timber access ramp was constructed to access the beach with heavy equipment for future maintenance. 
Our maintenance crew transformed this outdated pier in Dennis Grand Cove. The project consisted of new pressure treated decking, handrail, safety rail, and access stairs. The crew reconstructed the gate at the starting point of the pier, which gave it a completed look.”

Dennis - Embankment Stair Project
To complete this project, it required dredging to create depth for the floating dock. This was done with a piece of small-scale equipment, which gave our crews the ability to work in a shallow environment. This process included the dredge material to be loaded into one-yard bags and offloaded by Allen Harbor Marine's forklift, and then loaded into a dump truck. The dock was built with IPE decking. The homeowner chose to apply a clear stain to bring out the beauty of the wood and it looks amazing.
Our construction crews completed this job by removing the homeowner's old pier, and replaced it with a brand-new pier, as well a large floating dock. This new pier and floating dock were constructed with IPE decking, which will give the homeowner a heavy duty and long-lasting deck surface. This dock is unique in that it can accommodate multiple large boats with plenty of draft and berthing space.
This roadside property was improved by inserting a new vinyl sheet bulkhead and greenheart pilings for protection against erosion. This gives the owner additional land and the potential to install a permanent dock and a stabilized bank for dredging in the future.
