Our construction crews wrapped up this project for a neighborhood association in Falmouth. This project included a variety of services including invasive vegetation removal, embankment grading and stabilization, stairs supported by helical piers driven into a bank, and construction of a new timber embankment staircase. All work on this project was self-performed and ahead of schedule.

Matt and Max finished the construction of this new pier in Osterville. The pier is a new addition to a recently completed home construction project and finished the project with access to deep water. This new pier is finished with a high end upgrade using all IPE hardwood decking and handrail, which will provide a long term maintenance free and quality finish on this pier for the duration of its lifespan.

Dillon, Matt and crew wrapped up this enhancement on this pier in Marstons Mills. The crew installed a new pressure treated handrail and safety rail on the existing walkway section. Galvanized hardware and stainless steel screws were also used to increase the longevity of the handrail system, while also making accommodations for a new dock box and power pedestal on the pier.

Johnny, Ethan, and Connor are back in Dennis building another large embankment stair right next door to their winter project. This project is designed to match the stair next door and includes a large landing at the top with two large sitting benches, a large deck on top of the stone revetement, and built with all IPE decking and handrail. This stair also includes a two-piece aluminum staircase that can be quickly removed and stored in the event of a storm.

Evan Charlie and Joey finished up the new bulkhead and embankment stair project on John Pond last week and wow are we impressed. This new installation completely transforms the backyard of the property and creates a usable beach area at the toe of the wall that was never there before. These homeowners said they have never enjoyed the property the way they do now since growing up in the house when it belonged to their grandparents. Another great project in the books.

Matt, Max, and Mike have started a new pier construction up in Kingston on the Jones River. This pier had very limited access from the water so the crew built this whole pier around the tides with upland access and a small excavator for driving piles. We can't wait to see this one finished up this week.

Evan, Charlie, and Joey have traded the salt water for fresh water as they start this new vinyl bulkhead installation in Mashpee. This project is in tight quarters and on a steep embankment that calls for a lot of excavation just to get down to the work area. Last week they started on the removal of the existing masonry retaining wall and will be moving onto wall installation this week.

Johnny, Ethan, and Connor just finished this complicated staircase down in Chatham. This stair has it all, bringing them access to their private dock, as well as an elevated sitting area that looks out over the bay. It was a complicated build using both helical pier and @diamondpier to support every support post, we know this one will be here for a long time to come. Great work guys.

Evan, Charlie, and Joey have moved onto their next bulkhead in Dennis and are making quick work of it. This is a complete rebuild of an old timber bulkhead and replacing with a new vinyl bulkhead. Here they have gotten started with excavation behind the old wall, installation of the new helical tie backs, and segmental removal of the old wall. Next up they will be standing the false work and off and running driving the new sheet piles.

Matt, Chuck, & Mike have been hard at work on our first project on Martha’s Vineyard building a stone revetment in Tisbury. This has been a great new challenge for us and as always, the crew has delivered another top-quality project. A lot of behind-the-scenes work goes into these island projects, all the materials and equipment had to be shipped from New Bedford to the Vineyard by tug and barge and the crew travelled to and from the island every day by ferry playing their work schedules around the tides and weather.
